buying a present for someone you dont like?

im being practically forced against my will to attend a 30th female birthday party who i dont particuarly like. Obv i need to bring a gift but dont want to spend much. The party is black and gold theamed. any ideas? because i dont like the woman i havent gone out of my way to listen to her when she talks so dont know what she likes/dislikes etc. any ideas?

i am sorry but if i don,t like a person i wouldn,t let anyone “force” me to get them a present or go to their party
