My ex best friend’s (I moved away from her) son is graduating from high school. I would like to send money. I did not know her son very well, only spoke with him a couple of times. I speak with my friend about once a month now. What is an appropriate $ amount to send him. I was thinking $40. Is this high, low, or about right?
