Gift Suggestions for International Secret Santa?

Hello!

Originally I wanted to give a ‘Gift of Miracle’ from UNICEF, specifically storybooks and granola sustenance for children in developing nations, mail it to my address (I live in Vancouver, Canada), and then ship the certificates to my friend in South Korea as a Christmas Present. The problem is it won’t reach her in time for Christmas because it takes 10 business days to arrive at my place and then I would have go to to the Post Office and they will charge me $70 for priority mail. It is only guaranteed to arrive before Dec.25 if I send the certificates by Dec.1… which unfortunately isn’t possible with my finances.

Are there any other presents I could get her that would be in the $20-30 price range? I have to be smart about it because I’m trying to reduce my cost, and hopefully avoid parcels and opt for the envelopes at the Post Office instead (since they are cheaper).

Thank you very much for your help!

And HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

You can make a similar donation through World Vision’s gift catalog and print out the card at home immediately. That would give you more time to get it in the mail.
